Malique Daniels is a Film/TV Editor and a graduate of Georgia State University, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Video while minoring in Entertainment Media Management.
After graduation, she decided to move to New York City from her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia in August of 2017. Once she officially made the move, it was clear that she would have to grind harder than she ever did before. She landed her first internship opportunity at Light Iron and since then she has been able to work for companies such as Yahoo! Lifestyle and Entertainment, Interactive One, Bossip, Jigsaw Production all while growing her personal clientele which include Emmy Award-Winning Actress Lynn Whitfield, BE@T by Meredith, NINE/12, Adidas, and Eboni K. Williams.
Becoming a successful editor is not something that happens overnight. It requires countless hours of work, often unpaid, to get one foot in the door. All of her experiences, whether paid or unpaid, have given her enormous amount of hands-on experience she applies to her craft everyday. Malique has learned the importance of incorporating past knowledge into new experiences to cultivate progressive environments, a successful key, she has used while working tirelessly on the Adultin’ Series.
